When York Township experienced a growth spurt, the Township realized they needed to grow too. So, they purchased a farm on which to build and consolidate operations, while being sensitive to the natural surroundings. The design followed that of a working farm. The complex is comprised of three main buildings: Administration Office (appears as three separate buildings); Maintenance Building; and Equipment Storage Building. They were positioned to maintain the relationship which you typically see on a farm.
