The mission objective was to renovate and/or combine multiple existing rooms and to obtain compliance with Director of National Intelligence (DNI) guidelines. The interior upgrades will protect classified conversations from being inadvertently overheard outside the specified areas.
Construction followed a sequenced approach with Area 1 as the first phase, with Area 2 remaining active. After acceptance and turnover of the first Area, the Contractor began construction of Area 2.
