Powering every effective architectural design team is a mixture of creativity, collaboration, and technology. Pioneering the use of technology at CORE Design Group is Pete Smith. Today, we celebrate Pete’s dedication and contributions to CORE as he steps into his new role of Design Systems Lead.

Pete has sixteen years’ experience developing software as a member of an architectural design team. In his eight years at CORE, he’s quickly created many tools to complete the task at hand. In his new position, Pete will commit his full attention to realizing the potential of these tools, bringing brainstorms and proofs-of-concept to maturity, providing documentation and support, and ensuring that his creations empower all of CORE’s project teams.

Pete’s bias toward action and willingness to challenge the status quo have made him a true leader at CORE. He asks the questions necessary to understand a problem completely, and patiently mentors his younger colleagues.
