Armada Supply Chain Solutions is a leading food service supplier for several large fast food industries such as McDonald’s, Darden Restaurants, Chipotle and Chick-Fil-A. They needed a new centralized distribution facility that would become their northeast hub. This distribution center includes 90,000 SF of freezer and cooler area and achieved LEED® Silver certification.
Exterior walls are combination of load-bearing site-cast tilt-up concrete panels and insulated metal panels. The roof is steel joists and girders, with a fully-adhered TPO membrane over rigid insulation. The freezer facility featured 6-inch insulated metal panels and a refrigeration equipment penthouse. The entire facility is fully sprinklered and handicapped accessible.
