As a leader in the field of healthcare facility design, CORE Design Group provided architectural and interior design services for the renovation and expansion of an existing 9,638 square-foot Cardiology Department for WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.
The project required a new Cardiology Suite addition to be built over the existing Emergency Department, while creating (2) new catheterization labs, (8) new pre-operation/post-anesthesia care units, associated support spaces, a redesigned layot for the staff locker room and a new elevator connecting the Emergency Department.
The focus of the project was to modernize and revitalize the existing practices’ space into a state-of-the-art Cardiology facility suitable for current standards and the growing number of clientele.
