Originally built in 1884 as the Locust Grove Schoolhouse, the building housed grades one through twelve in one room, operating as a school until 1947. After closing, it functioned as a restaurant. Unfortunately, a 2018 electrical fire destroyed the restaurant. Bringing new life to the building, Half Pint Creamery bought the property soon after.
