The new three-story, state-of-the-art Research and Development Center has conventional steel wall, floor and roof system, metal stud and brick veneer suspended wall system and composite floor system. Exterior finishes are brick veneer, storefront, curtainwall, and fully adhered EPDM roofing. It includes a laboratory, administrative offices, medical offices, conference rooms, pedestrian and service elevators, stair towers, restrooms, and storage and mechanical rooms.

The new center receives 100% of its electricity from the company’s twenty-six acre solar panel farm. The electrical system is connected to a 4.3 megawatt solar field. The facility is fully sprinklered and handicapped accessible.
