The Willard is a new seven-story, multi-family luxury apartment complex located in Owings Mill, MD. The podium-style building offers residents modern living spaces and amenities, convenient access to shops, restaurants, and entertainment, and uncompromising architectural design.

The complex features 227 one- and two-bedroom units ranging in size from 687 square feet to 1,246 square feet, and two distinct courtyards. The 9,000-SF “active” courtyard offers residents an outdoor pool, tanning deck, and grilling area. The 7,000-SF “zen” courtyard features shaded seating and a grassy lawn area. Other amenities include a luxuriously appointed 1,500-SF club room and 2,000-SF fitness center with dedicated spin room.

Continued progress on the complex was threatened by pandemic-related supply chain disruptions. Our team recommended material substitutions and alternate solutions to keep the project on schedule. The resulting design consists of five stories of wood construction atop two stories of concrete construction.
