This project included additions and alterations to the existing Washington Elementary School.
Both the multi-purpose and administrative additions are load-bearing masonry cavity walls and steel structure. Exterior finishes are brick masonry with an EPDM roof system. Renovations include a new HVAC system, plumbing fixtures, electrical service, fire protection system, and interior finishes. The entire building is fully sprinklered.
The administrative addition is a one-story building with a covered entrance, administrative area, library/media center, and classroom.
The multi-purpose addition is a one-story building with a stage, multipurpose room, toilet rooms, kindergarten classroom, faculty lounge, and food service area.
Site improvements included a new maintenance building and dumpster enclosure.
